Start your IB French B success with Human Ingenuity . Turn your French into an IB 7 !

Discover how creativity, innovation, and problem-solving shape our world. In the third week of the IB French B Intensive Summer Program, students explore the theme Human Ingenuity, a core IB concept that appears frequently in oral and written assessments. Through interactive discussions, guided practice, and exam-focused activities, students learn how to express their ideas, opinions, and reflections on innovation and creativity clearly, confidently, and accurately in French.

1) Schedule (Monday – Friday)

HL Students
10:00 AM – 1:00 PM

SL Students
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM

Each day includes three hours of intensive training combining vocabulary development, communication practice and exam strategies specifically designed for IB French B SL and HL students.

2) What students will learn

During this week, students will develop the language needed to discuss topics such as:

• Creativity and artistic innovation

• Scientific and technological breakthroughs

• Problem-solving and critical thinking

• Influence of innovation on society and culture

• How human ingenuity shapes the future

Students will also learn how to structure arguments and ideas effectively for IB speaking and writing tasks, a key skill for achieving high marks.

3) IB-style guiding questions

Students will explore questions frequently used in IB discussions, such as:

• How does human creativity influence society?

• What role does innovation play in shaping culture and values?

• Can technology solve all human challenges?

These discussions help students develop analytical thinking and advanced oral communication skills, both essential for IB assessment criteria.

4) Friday: IB Mock Assessment

At the end of the week, students complete a realistic IB-style assessment designed to simulate exam conditions.

Students receive:

✔ detailed personalized feedback
✔ clear strategies to improve performance

Why this week is essential ?

Mastering the theme allows students to confidently discuss their life events, opinions, and reflections, which are key components of IB French B exams. By the end of the week, students will have:

Flexible Enrollment

Families can choose the option that best fits their summer schedule. Students may enroll for a single week or for multiple weeks depending on their goals and availability. Each week is designed as a complete and focused module built around one IB theme, allowing students to benefit from the program even if they join for a shorter period. However, students who participate in several weeks naturally gain the most from the program, as the progression allows them to reinforce vocabulary, deepen their communication skills and build stronger confidence across the different IB themes.

The structure of the program is therefore both flexible and progressive, offering families the freedom to choose while ensuring meaningful progress for every student.
